I just found your site and it is so insipiring. To put all these helpful tips to work and showing the world that weight lose isn't impossible. I have something that you should try at Trader Joe's. Look for Sharon's Sorbet. It's all natural and totally delicious! A serving size is 1/2 a cup but I can never eat just that. Old habits die hard. They have three kinds to my knowledge. Raspberry = 1 point per serving, Lemon = 2 points per serving, and Coconut = 4 points per serving....high but worth it. I personally love the raspberry the most...I can eat the whole carton for 4 points...it's a life saver when you really want something sweet and a lot of it. Thanks for making this awesome site. You're amazing.

Your tips are so common-sense and the philosophy they reflect is probably a huge reason you have been so successful. Thanks for the ideas.

Great ideas!
Planning is the measure of success. I think your ideas about packing low-point snacks and lunch for work are very good. And subtracting lunch and/or dinner points at the beginning of the day to know how many points you have left is genius. dinner is the most important meal to me. It makes sense to plan the rest of my points around that meal so I don’t run out of points at the end of the day and end up going over my allowance.

Thank you so much for your ideas. My husband and I are both quite over weight and we have finally deicided to make the decision to do something about it once and for all. I have chosen weight watchers, (which I have all the stuff because I have done it before). I just am having a really hard time coming up with dinner ideas to feed my family, but that I can eat also. I don’t want to cook 2 seperate meals every night. Do you have any ideas to share? Thanks!
Thanks for the great helpful tips!
My favorite Trader Joe's item is the Multigrain Savory Crackers. They are only 2 points for 17 crackers. I eat 8 with TJ special salsa (1 pt) to take the edge off when I get home from work!
I just discovered the Black Bean & Corn Frozen Enchiladas from Trader Joe's. All this time I thought mexican food was 'taboo' because of all the grease and cheese. But then these little delights came along and now I am back in mexican food heaven.
I printed this whole list the last time I went shopping, it was a great help, thanks!
Man, I sure wish there was a Trader Joe's somewhere around here!! All their stuff sounds really good. I'm wondering...I noticed you eat lots of soy crisps and bean dip as a snack...what kinda of soy crsips do you get and where? I know the bean dip is Trader Joe's, but if you know of another kind that please include that too.
THANKS!
Aggiemomma2Boys - Whatever ones I can find! Ummm quaker has some, and glenny's and Giant (local food store) has them. As for the bean dip Herrs has some I think I posted it on my food finds. If I have some time I'll post a soy crisps and bean dip post! lol It is my favorite!
I love all of your ideas, and my fiance swear I'm lying to him when I says there is turkey pepperoni out there, because Giant Eagle (the super market in N.E. Ohio) doesn't carry it. What is the brand name of the turkey pepperoni you use? or where could I find it?
I only know of one brand. It's Hormel and they sell it in pillow packs by the prepackaged deli meats by me.
Man I wish there was more! I'm a pepperoni freak! :~)
What an excellent list!! Thank you so much for putting this together!
