I swear it taste like I smooshed up an apple pie! It’s 4 points for a nice warm healthy breakfast.

UPDATE: I found a few generic sugar free cinnamon flavored oatmeals. They work just as good and some are less point then the quaker.

WOW!!!! That sounds great. I have been eating oatmeal almost everyday. This sounds like a great variation. I need to buy some applesauce. I just started WW and need to lost 100 lbs. Any advise would help. Love your site.

I forgot to ask if it matters what flavor of oatmeal you use. I usually buy the banana cread oatmeal.

Hey Roni,

this applsauce, and oatmeal is delicious! It tastes like an apple pie, so if I am good I will add a tablespoon of icecream….. fat free yogurt too. Im going on a cruise to Mexico in a few months, need to lose at least 6 pounds.

I finally tried this one today. I had to use the real Quaker oatmeal though… my grocery does not carry the weight control variety. Anyway, I added 1/2 tsp of the splenda brown sugar for a sweeter taste. Wonderful! FYI - by using the old fashioned oats with 1/2 cup of the unsw. applesauce, it was only 3 pts for a HUGE serving. It was warm and incredibly filling. Thanks for sharing.

I made something similar to this, using regular instant oatmeal, two tbsp of pumpkin, and 1/4 tsp of pumpkin pie spice, and added a packet of Splenda vanilla coffee flavor. It was two points and tasted like pumpkin pie. Just make the oatmeal the way the directions said, add the rest of the stuff and microwave for a minute.

This is sooo good! I add "International Delight Fat Free French Vanilla Creamer" to mine and it tastes like Apple Pie Ala Mode. Makes a great-filling breakfast!
