Cherry Pie Yogurt

Have you noticed? I’ve been on a cherry kick recently! Oh Well, I wanted something new for breakfast and came up with this idea. It was surprisingly filling.
- Light cherry yogurt (I use a generic brand 2 points for 8 oz)
- Fresh cherries halved and de-pitted ( I used about ½ cup)
- 1/8 -1/4 cup of All bran or Fiber one to sprinkle on top
Combine all ingredients and enjoy!
The cereal and cherries separately are 0 points but adding them both I would count this as 3 total. Not bad for a quick breakfast with no cooking involved! ;~)

Have you ever thought about using ground flax seeds to up the fiber in any of your meals? They do add some calories, but the nutritional benefits really can’t be beat. Plus, they contain omega-3 fatty acids. I sometimes use flax seed oil, but it is more expensive (about $10 for a few oz.). A bag of seeds is about $2.50 and lasts a long time. I add it to smoothies, stir fry, baked goods, etc.

This is off subject… but I’m new to your blog (and really enjoying it). And I’m wondering - do you ever incorporate alcohol into your points/diet? I’m thinking of getting OP but really enjoy my glass of red wine in the evening…
Thoughts??

That’s been my breakfast every other day for the 2 months I’ve been on the WW Journey.
Except, I use Kashi Puffs. I need to avoid the High Fructose Corn Syrup in the Fiber One.
