Cheesy Whole Grain Pizza Mac
Yet another idea to get a fussy toddler to eat their veggies! It’s worked, again! ;~)
For us adults though, the dish needed a bit more salt. It’s worked better as Pizza sauce then pasta sauce but was still yummy and the 3 of us enjoyed our lunch today.
- 6 oz whole grain pasta
- 1 cup of Roni’s “They don’t know what’s in there” Pizza Sauce
- 2 oz mozzarella cheese
- Dried parsley
Cook the pasta according to the package. When finished drain but leave a little of the water as the pizza sauce is thick. Put the pasta back into the pot, add the sauce and place over medium low heat. Add about ¾ of the cheese to save a bit for the top. Stir frequently until all the cheese melts and the sauce is warmed. Pour in a large bowl, top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle a bit of parsley for effect. ;~)
It was super quick and real tasty. Both toddlers loved it. This recipe makes 3 servings each serving approximately 300 cals, 5 g of fat and 7 g of fiber. What a great toddler meal and for mom, only 6 points!
Oh! Don't get your hopes up, that's all 3 servings pictured. ;~)

I visit your site pretty often, but something strange is happening today. It is not showing properly in my browser. I have a Mac and use Safari, but IE looks pretty bad too. Did something change overnight?
Thank you so much for letting me know!! All fixed. I use Firefox and didn't notice a change today.

DARN! How did you know I'd be all excited about that big plate of pasta??
