Hi Roni,

Have you ever tried dates? The fruit? They are very sweet for only one point for two which is a great quick fix. Give it a try but by it from organic food store so it won't be old and dry.

Also, it has been a year since your last picture. Are you planning to update the photo section? I am of ccourse asking because I am sure you look great and it will motivate me big time!

Best of luck with everything,
Anar

I love how you are able to post your food and activity on your blog. What program or framework do you use to be able to enter your food like that?

I see that your weight is up just a tiny bit, do you think you are gaining muscle from the gym. You inspire me everyday. I have just lost my first 10lbs, which is probably the easiest. My fiance is just like your husband. Mostly he won't eat the healthy stuff I make, but sometimes he surprises me and like it.

Anonymous - It may be a bit of that but I'm also trying to work off my summer gain! I did go up a bit with all my vacations.

Personally, I find that if I have alot of protein on breakfast, and keep the sweetness low, I am steadier the whole day, and have less of the "need something", which I know all too well!

Your breakfast seems to me to be a bit low on the protein, maybe a bit high glycemic. Keep up the good work!

I'm having one of those moments right now! I'm always hungry and I find the more water I drink- the more hungry I feel! No win situation. I'm introducing more protein in to my diet- hopefully that will help too!

Roni, I am using the nutrition tracker at SparkPeople.com (it's free!) and I find when I am having one of those moods that I am low on something like calcium or protein. I hope this helps! BTW you look great and I love your site. I used one of your recipes yesterday and it was great! Between getting tips from your site and using SparkPeople.com, I've been able to shed 30 pounds since starting on 6/24/07 and there are lots of people on the site who following the WW flex and core programs. Check it out if you haven't already!!

pkwRoni, I made LIFETIME the Saturday before last, and I need to tell you again that this site kept me going. I love the recipes (the pics inspire me), and I'm now an official baby spinach fan because of you! (I'm still not quite ready for the patty pans and chayote squash yet, though, but who knows...you keep putting recipes out there, and I'm bound to try it sooner or later!) I even got my three sensory challenged picky-eater children to eat "Turkey Spinach Crescent Loaf" tonight!!! (Inspired by your Beefy Spinach recipe,I used mesquite deli-sliced turkey, chopped green onions, chopped spinach, 1/4 cup itallian blend cheese, 1/4 cup fat free cheddar, salt & pepper, then sprayed the top w/butter spray & sprinkled with garlic powder...I left off the other ingredients. I thought I was eating at a restaurant it was SO wonderful.) Thank you, thank you, thank you for keepin' on. I even exer***ed this morning, and I really think it was because of your "gym rat" comment that keeps resonating in my mind. Anyway, I am checking your site every day hoping that you'll give hints about your big announcement Friday. The suspense is killing me. You know what everyone is thinking, right?!!!
Sincerely, Tina P. in Alabama
