Contagious Goals
I did it. Holy CRAP I really did it. I climbed the medium inclined wall at the “Y”. I almost lost my balance 3 separate times and it took every muscle in my body to get up there but I DID IT!!! It was SO EMPOWERING!
Really, there is no better confidence builder then setting a goal and reaching it. Really!
And you know what? Once you reach one goal, your other goals just seem so much more attainable. Almost like goal achievement is contagious. If that makes any sense?
Ok, I’m rambling.
So my next goal is to tackle that wall a few more times and then hit the hard incline. Right now it looks absolutely impossible but you never know. Maybe I’ll tackle it by Christmas!
Other then that I was hit by my girl scout cookie order today. They are just evil. Evil I say!

WAY TO GO RONI!!!
You did it! You beat the wall! You are awesome!!!
You're hungry because of the workouts. Don't worry about it (or the points). If you're hungry, eat. It will keep your metabolism revved up.
Congrats Roni!
Congratulations! Nothing compares to that sense of accomplishment!!
The girl scout cookies incident scares me...we have 7 boxes on the way. I tried to order ones my kids like and I don't but I am not sure there is such a thing. Wrapping paper sales are less dangerous!!
WooHoo!! You go girl!! Congrats!!
Thanks for another dose of inspiration!
Congrats on reaching your goal. I had a minor achievement today that really wasn't a goal, but it felt like a victory. I come up two flights of stairs to get to my office every morning. Today I flew right up those steps and was not the slightest bit out of breath - hoorah! I can remember a time not so long ago when I would be out of breath. There are great reminders of our progress available, other than the scale. Your rock wall is certainly one of them, as are my stairs! Great job.
You know just an FYI, where I live they have 100 calorie packs of girl scout cookies. I think they were called cinnamon swirls and there were tons of cookies in one bag and they were so good and I didn't have to feel guilty about eating them.
Roni,
So proud of you climbing the wall. You are exactly right about the goals being contagious comment. So true!! I ran my longest race ever a few weeks ago, a 10K and now I feel like I can do anything. Oh, my suggestion on the girl scout cookies...throw them away!! I have no willpower with those so I cannot get near them.
You GO! Very inspiring blog entry today. Thanks. I needed it.
Congrats Roni!!! I know you've been working hard at achieving this goal. I am SO proud of you!!
WooHoo!! so awesome for you to climb that wall!!!! DO IT!! You are awesome!!
Congrats on climbing the wall! There's nothing like setting a goal for yourself and working towards it. Today, I ran my first 10K (6.2 miles) in Camden, NJ, and I feel GREAT!
