Curves Food Products

Curves FoodA few people have brought these new Curves products to my attention and today I received samples of Honey Crunch Cereal and the Chocolate Peanut Bar. Both were very good.

The Bar reminded me of lighter version of the Fiber One Chewy Bars. They only weigh in at 100 calories, 3.5 g of fat and 5 g of fiber. But be warned, they contain the same ingredient (chicory root extract) as the Fiber One Bars. So if you have an, ummm, reaction to them you might want to proceed with caution. (if you have no idea what I’m talking about check out the comments on the Fiber One posts. )

As for the cereal, I decided to have some after work, as a snack. It had just the right sweetness and crunch. At first, I thought the calories (190 calories, 1 g of fat, 5 g of fiber) were high for your average run of the mill breakfast cereal. Then I realized it was for a cup and most cereals nutritional information are based on ½ or ¾ of a cup. I like it enough to want to try the other Whole Grain Crunch variety which is only 100 calories for ¾ of a cup.

If you are interested, you can request a free sample here.

They are also running a Real Change, Real Women contest for success stories. I entered, cross your fingers!

Has anyone else tried the other varieties?

I have the Strawberries & Cream granola bars right now. They're pretty sweet, but good. And only 100 calories, 2 fats and 5 fibers...1 point!

I just tried the Curves butter-flavored popcorn yesterday, and it was quite good. Better than a couple of other lite microwave popcorns I've tried. and it was 4 grams fiber and 90 calories (1 WW point), so a little lower in calories as well.
