Light Touch Muffins - A Review
A few weeks ago, Andrew from Linda’s Diet Delites asked if I’d try and write a review for Light Touch Muffins. He sent me a sample of the Zucchini flavor and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I mean it’s a zucchini muffin! How good could it possibly be? Well, I think you’ll be surprised by the answer.
The first thing I noticed about the muffin was it’s size. Wrapped in a clear plastic it was a normal size muffin, not a “diet size”. You know what I mean right? You hear a muffin is one point and you assume tiny bite size laughable serving. Not so, It was a nice “normal” sized muffin.
I opened the package and was immediately impressed by how moist it was and the smell was amazing! I took a bite and I was in heaven. Seriously, I’m not exaggerating. It was THAT good!
The husband happened to walk by the kitchen and I was like, “you HAVE to try this!”
He, of course, rolled his eyes, as he always does when I ask him to try something. He then let’s out a, “Oh… that’s good!”
So there you have it, Roni and husband approved muffins! Now we only tried the zucchini so I can’t vouch for the other flavors but I’d sure like to try them now!
The muffin I ate was 110 calories, 1g of fat and 5g of fiber. Click here to check out the other flavors and nutritional information on Linda’s site where you can purchase them online.
Thanks Andrew!

Now if I had a new food product I wanted reviewed...that's the kind of review I would want to get! Maybe you should go give a certain candidate advice about authenticity! lol
i've tried these muffins also, and they are definitely amazing! They're the perfect size and flavor (sweet, but not overly so & a hint of spices). While light touch makes a couple other flavors, zucchini is by far my favorite.
Also- try toasting it in the oven, or slicing it in half to use a toaster. The muffins are even better hot, with a warm, moist center and crispy top.
oh, those sound yummy. Maybe a christmas present to myself...
Andrew's Diet Delites is fantastic!! You can order everything over the web and it is delivered quickly. The chocolate muffins (100 calories) are delicious and they have bagels too!! Check it out! It is great!!

Roni...Could you tell me how many grams are in these muffins? The photo for the nutritional information doesn't enlarge enough for me to be able to read it. Also, how do these compare (taste/flavor/etc.) to VitaTops? It seems the calorie counts are the same, but I didn't compare the other nutritionals. Thanks for the feedback!!
Sherri - I threw away my package. I'll contact Andrew again, he maybe able to spread some light on the subject.
Roni I am a guy and I enjoy reading your blog all the time. I have a 6 year old with his 7 year birthday on Wednesday. I post all the time on the WW men's boards. I am down 108.4 lbs. on 65 weeks. This is one place I use to keep me OP. Thank you.
Oh and thanks for the heads up with Linda's (or Andrews LOL) diet delights. I have been looking for a place to get the Alternative Bagels here on the east coast as well as WW friendly stuff.
I will try and post here more often.
Thanks Roni! I really appreciate it.

Sheri,
I'm slightly confused by your question in regards to "how many grams?" Do you mean what is the size of the muffin? In that case it is 3.25 oz. I would need to search around on google to find a converter to grams.
Let me know if that answers your question.
Thanks,
Andrew
lou,
I'm so glad to hear you found us. We seem to have many customers like you who can't find the Western Bagels on the east cost. Fortunately, we sell them one at a time so you don't have to buy a whole case. And we put them on sale about a month ago so they are a little bit cheaper than before :)

Sherri,
Forgot to add my thoughts on the taste of the VitaMuffins as compared to Light Touch.
We sell both so I won't say either way because they are both good muffins - I'll leave that up to Roni.
-Andrew
Thanks Andrew! I was trying to get an idea as compared to the VitaMuffin Tops. Thise are 2 oz. and 55g, so I was curious about these stats for Light Touch. I don't believe there is a calculator to convert the ounces to grams, as the grams take into account the fiber content, etc. At least that was my understanding, please correct me if I am off base. Thanks again!
Sherri,
Now I see what you mean about the grams. I'll take a look at the packaging to see if I can provide more info.
-Andrew
Thanks Andrew! I apologize my original message wasn't clear.
Andrew and/or Roni,
Have either of you had a chance to look at the number of grams in these muffins? Also, Roni what are your thoughts when comparing these to the VitaMuffins? Thanks!
Sherri - I'm sorry I thought Andrew got you.
I don't know the grams but the oz are 3.25 oz. They are a little bit bigger.
AS for the taste, I only tried the zucchini which was AWESOME. I thought it was moister then the vita muffins but it's hard to compare chocolate with zucchini. It was different but really good!
Sherri,
Sorry for the delay. The holidays have been a little crazy.
As Roni mentioned the net weight is 3.25 oz.
On the label it says the serving size is one muffin and one muffin is 92g.
I hope that helps.
-Andrew
Thanks for the information Andrew, I really appreciate it. Hope you had a great holiday. Amazing stats on those muffins. I'm definitely going to have to try them!!
