Take THAT Cinnabon

So the EVIL husband bought a 4 pack of Cinnabons today. A FOUR PACK?!?! I don't know WHAT he was thinking.

He popped one in the microwave about an hour ago and the smell was enough to drive me mad. So I had 1 BITE of his and then proceeded to scoop out a serving of Breyer's Free Vanilla and sprinkle cinnamon on top. YUMMY!!

It hit the spot, cured the craving and saved me about 35 points! Plus I don't feel like a beached whale right now!! LOL

It's all about compromise and substitutions!

and that is always my struggle, Roni.

STILL.

Id have eating 204372874 other things seeking that high (*wink*) when one bite would have done it and Id still have ended up at the bite well, at the END.

have a good weekend!

(giving yourself the gift of a weight training work out on mothers day?)

Good for you! I'd have had problems wanting more ice cream--that's why I can't keep even the "free" stuff in the house. Oy.

That's just plain mean, your hubby buying 4 of those cinnabons, knowing how much you love them and that you struggle daily to maintain. I guess I'm very lucky that I live alone. Anyway, that was a great idea you had for a substitution....congratulations to you!

Child...you are definitely stronger than I am. In my world there is no substitution for those things...just total avoidance!

I don't know if you've heard of them, but you should try Pillsbury Sugar Free Cinnamon Rolls. One roll has 110 calories, 3.5g fat, 3g fiber, and 23 carbs. Only 2 points on WW. I'm a nutritionist and came across your page and thought you might be interested! It may be hard not to eat the whole batch of them though!

That's so awesome! Good for you! Doesn't it feel good to put that food in it's place? It is very powerful.
Had to laugh when I hit the mall on Friday to pick up Mother's Day stuff...walked by Cinnabon and thought of you...actually chuckled out loud! Funny how certain things remind of us of certain people who are a part of our lives! (oh and the smell was just about enough to kill me! Love those darn things!)
Happy Mother's Day!

The smell of those must be more tempting that crack to an addict! I don't know how you resisted it in your very own home. What a nightmare.

I tried to have a Cinnabon when we were at the Salt Lake airport a few weeks ago. Luckily, it was bad so I only had a few bites. Or, maybe my eating has changed so much that the bad foods I used to think were good just aren't anymore.

I wish!
