Progression Photos

I can’t believe I’m doing this, but here is a pictorial journal of my weight loss. Starting with my before picture I plan on adding about 1 pic a month until I reach my goal weight.

116 Weeks OP Taken 09/25/07

Roni 64 weeks OP

WOW It's been a YEAR since posting. I guess since I reached my weight loss goal it wasn't as important for me to post progress pictures. But, as requested, here you go! I snapped this before going to work today. The morning scale reading was 142 and those are size 6 dress pants. It's also been about 2 months since I started working out and circuit craning. I think I'm starting to see results. Especially in my arms!

64 Weeks OP Taken 09/13/06

Roni 64 weeks OP

I wasn’t planning on updating this section for awhile but someone shot this picture of me and it reminded me of the pictures I’d take for web site. This was taken 64 weeks after starting weight Watchers. I was about 138 lbs. This will be the last picture I post for awhile, at least until my 2 year weight Watchers anniversary.

56 Weeks OP Taken 07/18/06

56 weeks on plan

This is me on vacation this year. A few people requested some maintenance photos. This is my 56th week on plan, 20 weeks after making lifetime. I’m about 136 pounds in this photo and it’s 5 weeks after my tummy tuck.

42 Weeks OP Taken 04/16/06

42 week on Plan

I’ll say it again, only because I can’t believe it! Those are size 6! There a little snug but who cares?!? I love them! This was taken a few days after I weighed in at 138.

36 Weeks OP Taken 03/03/06

image of Roni on 03/03/06Another Image of Roni on 03/03/06

The day after I reached my goal of making lifetime member at weight Watchers and weighing in at 142.2lbs! I bought this dress in honor of making goal a few weeks ago. It’s a size 8 and I plan on wearing it to a wedding this fall. Of course the picture I liked the best didn’t come out great (the one on the right) so I tried to brighten it up a bit.

Those who know me know I NEVER wear anything with my arms exposed! This is a first! Man I wished I was that skinny on my wedding day! ;)

32 Weeks OP Taken 02/04/06

This was taken 2 days after I weighed in at
146.4. I am actually below goal! You will not believe what size those jeans are, I hardly believe it myself! 8’s!! And they fit perfectly! Much better then the 12’s below. ;)

27 Weeks OP Taken 12/30/05

This is 2 days after I weighed in with a 1.8 lbs gain after Christmas at 152.4. As you can see I really shouldn’t be wearing those jeans. I finally agree, bigger clothes do not make you look better. Those are size 12’s! I look thinner in the 10’s below and I was 4 lbs heavier!

23 Weeks OP Taken 11/30/05

This was taken the day I weighed in at 158.6. 10lbs since my last picture and those are size 10 jeans baby!

17 Weeks OP Taken 10/21/05

I took this 2 days after I weighed in at 168.4. These jeans are a size 12 I found in my closet, have no idea when I got them, but there are baggy!! 10’s are a little too tight still, but maybe in a next few weeks I’ll be there.

13 Weeks OP Taken on 09/22/05

33.6 pounds gone! Taken the day after my weigh in at 173.2 pounds. Those shorts were un-wearable 8 weeks ago!

7 Weeks OP Taken on 08/18/05

This as taken the day after I weigh-in at 183.2. I’ll have you know those are the first pair of jeans I’ve worn non maternity since about February!

1 Month Taken on 07/23/05

This was taken at the shore. 4 days before I weighed in at 191.4.

Before Picture Taken 06.17.05

This might be the least flattering picture I have of myself. In defense, it was 2 days after Ryan was born, but god, does it make a great before picture! I am approx 225 pounds in this.

    Hi Roni -
I found your site on weight watchers … so I came to look around.
You are so inspiring! You look absolutely great! Thank you for the information on the tummy tuck…
I don’t have too much to lose - I figure another 12 pounds will do it, but my goodness it is slow going.
But I will perservere - It helps me a lot to see someone who has been so successful at this.
    Congratulations to you.
    Yours truly, Nancy Nelson

WOW! You look fabulous! Just gorgeous. Congratulations on your success! I just started my second weight Watchers go (post baby both times), and a friend pointed me your way. Thanks for sharing so much, and being so honest about everything. It’s very inspirational to see someone who made “it”!

you look wonderful!!! You have inspired me to get back on weight watchers and actually make my goal this time!

The first thing I noticed about your progression pictures is how much YOUNGER you look thinner. I have had 2 children in the last 2 years and have gained a significant amount of weight. I am the heaviest I have ever been and joined weight Watchers at the beginning of January 07. I weighed in @ 217.5 my first week and I have already lost 15 pounds. My goal for this week is to lose enough so that I can be in the 1’s again. I turn 30 in June and my goal is to lose 50 pounds by then. That is not all I want to lose though. I would like to be at my goal weight by the end of the year. I have a long road ahead of me, but seeing sites like yours are a true inspiration. Keep up the fantastic work! You look FABULOUS dahling! :o)

I am laughing at your size 8 vs. 12 pictures! I just last night bough my first pair of 8’s. I’ve been wearing 12s for the past 30 pounds! :) Our stats looks so similar.

    Congrats on your success.

    Roni,

I just stumbled upon this page when I was searching for some WW information. You are an inspiration! I started WW in January and have seen results, but they are slow. I have lost about 15 pounds now and am officially below the weight I was before I got pregnant (my son is now 5 months old)! Hooray! I still have about 45 pounds to go to get to my goal weight. You are an inspiration though that it will work for anyone if you just stick with it. I hope I can get in to size 8s..its been so long!

Thanks for all of the pictures and congrats on your success you look wonderful!

    Hi Roni,

Thank you showing your progression. Since having my first child, quitting smoking, then having my 2nd,3rd, and 4th child, I have been struggling with losing the same 30 pounds. Seeing your story made me cry and it inspires me to stay on track even through the stress of everyday life. Thank you!

you look beautiful and healthy. keep up the lifestyle and you are very inspiring.

GREAT idea with the before, during, and after pictures. I never thought of doing that before, but I can definitely see how it would be helpful to see how far you’ve come. I usually avoid cameras at all costs :) Oh yeah, you’ve also inspired me to not take my 8’s and 10’s to the Goodwill quite yet! They might be out of style by the time I get to wear them, but oh well!

Wow, you look unbelievably great! I have just started WW and was just surfing for inspiration. Thanks! Helping others is what life is all about and it appears from other comments, that is what you are doing! Keep up the good work. You never know when or how you might touch another life. Your website is super!

    Roni,

I just started looking through your site and have been close to tears a few times. I bought scales 3 weeks ago and weighed 190lbs. I started dieting immediately and realized within a few day that if I didn’t do something else, I would start cheating myself within another week or so and never get anywhere. I joined WW at 186lbs and am hooked - yesterday I was 181lbs. At 5′7″ I haven’t set my goal weight yet and was thinking 145 and size 12 - before kids I was 140 and size 10. I have time to reconsider this, and may very well set higher standards for myself as you have done - those extra 4 dress sizes are amazing - I don’t think I’ve been in size 8 since jr. high. I will book-mark your site and thank you for having it.

    Roni,

I am so touched by your story. You look so fantastic. I am the same height, maybe a little taller but not much. I am 200lbs. I have stopped getting on the scale and often I cry. I found your story on my msn home page and here I am. As I write this I am crying because I so often wonder if I am ever going to be able to lose any weight. I lost 32 lbs a few years ago but then just let it all go. I am miserable and I look at you and your story makes me want it even more. You are truly an inspiration to me. Keep up all your hard work! I hope to find the same success you have. I have never really beleived that WW worked but I have to say that I am having second thoughts about it.

    Thank you,

    Jennifer

    Roni!
Fantastic job!! I am so proud of you!!! It is so difficult o lose wieght and stick to it. People dont realize that its more than just not eating the wrong foods and eating the right ones.
How much were you losing per month? looks like 10 lbs… and what kind of activity, working outs did you do? Your arms look great! not flabby or anything! I have noticed that with wieght watchers memebers. The leaders are not flabby! Even my leader who lost 228pounds!!!

Wow!!! You look about 10 years younger too. I enjoyed reading your blog too…It’s good to know I’m not the only one who struggles all the time.

    Roni~
You have done an amazing job and look absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your story…. you have given me new inspiration to meet my goals with my weight loss. I wish you continued success and will be a daily visitor to your site - it’s book marked :o)

Hi Roni! Your blogspot sure inspired me. I have two kids already and I never got back to my pre-pregnancy weight (105 lbs) since then. My 2nd baby is now 5 months old and im seriously planning to get back to my normal weigh. I need to lose a total of 40 lbs and I’ve been in the route of dieting and taking slimming pills. I lose a pound every now and then only to gain it later. Planned diets are good but it must be coupled with discipline and the proper attitude towards weight lost. Easier said than done actually but after visitng your site, you are very inspiring. Thanks again.

Very cool how you documented your weight lose through photos. I think I’ll try that! I joined weight watchers 5 weeks ago and have lost approximately 13 lbs. I say approximately because I weigh again in a couple of days. Your site is very motivational. Thank you.
